Dr Auzoux Small Anatomical Model, c.1880. Incomplete

The oldest male anatomical models (1880) of Dr Auzoux are rare and very sought after by collectors. This one has some missing organs (right arm and toes, abdomen and parts of intestines…) but retains all its interest.There is a signature mark on the right thigh. His patina raise a little more the fascinating nature of this object of study, which required considerable work, it is now placed in the rank of a work of art.
